Gucci must have spent a small fortune on their F/W09-10 ad campaign, photographed by the dynamic duo of Inez & Vinoodh, who bequeathed to us, a wall-to-wall shiny glamfest of top models, beautiful, young and urbane in chic ensembles, reminiscent of the band Suede. Miu Miu F/W09-10 Ad Campaign

Miuccia Prada really knows how to keep things interesting. Instead for going of a known personality, she has done quite the opposite for MiuMiu’s fall 2009 campaign. 5 unknown models were used for the shoot- Mimmi Soderstrom, Hannah Holman, Ilda Lindqvist, Victoria Tuaz, and Whitney Coble.

Shot by photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, the series of ads features a washed up, mostly black and white look, with a few soft touches of gray, tan and brown clothes and accessories to lend a softer feel. Needless to say, these new faces really delivered, producing images that are interesting, a bit haunting and very different.

Givenchy F/W09-10 Ad Campaign

After nine seasons collaborating with Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, Givenchy decided on a different creative approach and tapped photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott to shoot the campaign. The resulting campaign projects an ornate narcissistic pride of beautiful ones luxuriating in high end fashions, staring back at us questionaly, asking without words, whether we deserve a place in their world.

British high street brand Mulberry wheeled out trendy shutter-guy Steven Meisel to frame their F/W09-10 ad campaign with dollop of giddy new freshness. And he seems to have succeeded, bequeathing big-haired models Kasia Struss and Irina Kulikova upon us, toting some amazingly chic Mulberry bags through an enchanted forest path.. or are they lost in the woods, with only their fabulous bags to save them?
